 Primary Uses:


1. Hypertensive Emergencies:

   - Severe Hypertension: Labetalol Injection is commonly used in hypertensive emergencies, where blood pressure is dangerously high and requires immediate reduction to prevent organ damage. It is often administered intravenously to quickly lower blood pressure in conditions such as hypertensive encephalopathy, eclampsia, or acute aortic dissection.

   - Preeclampsia/Eclampsia: Labetalol is used to manage severe hypertension associated with preeclampsia or eclampsia in pregnant women. It helps to prevent complications such as seizures, stroke, and organ damage.


2. Control of Blood Pressure During Surgery:

   - Perioperative Hypertension: Labetalol is used to manage acute hypertension during surgical procedures, particularly in patients who may experience dangerous spikes in blood pressure during anesthesia or surgery. It helps to maintain stable blood pressure and reduce the risk of complications.


3. Management of Hypertension in Critical Care:
